Well, throughout all the wedding magazines, blogs, advice, etc...nothing was mentioned about how time consuming and somewhat meddlesome registering is. Don't get me wrong, it sure was fun at first, but with an inpatient fiance' and to many choices, it is very tiring. We started at Crate and Barrel last week, picking all kitchen necessities. Spencer did great....until the gun decided not to work in a timely manner. Therefore, EVERYTHING we were choosing had to be typed into the little gun machine. I felt bad, mainly because I knew he was getting tired of it, but several sports games were on, and the options seemed to be never ending :)
Soooo, last night we went to Dillard's to register for our China, thinking it would go a little quicker since we dint have to pick out much. Yes, I guess it did go a bit faster...but we had to listen to a 20 minute spill from the "registering coordinator," fill out shheeettsss of paper, and realize how expensive crystal is. My gosh...I picked up semi small, bathroom size clock, that was $$325.00. WOW!!!! Nonetheless, we DID NOT put that on our registry :)
We have one more place to register...Pottery Barn, and I am thinking I may go do this on my own one day after work.

Wedding Planning is fun :) But I sure am ready for the big day to be here!!

Engagement Pics

A couple Sundays ago, Spencer and I drove to Rockwall  to take several engagement pics, braving the tornadic winds. Of course, the wind was not conducive to good hair in the photos, but we had to get them done because our weekends are jam packed for the next month or so. Emby Photography (Melissa) did such a great job, even though the wind created quite a few obstacles. Melissa took us to this really cool old house/store where we took several pics before moving locations to a great piece of property down by Lake Ray Hubbard. I cant say enough great things about her. She takes her time, will go the extra mile for a great shot, and edits and sends the proofs to you very quickly! Thank you was great to meet you, and we look forward to working with you in the future :)

Hello Blog World

Well, guess its about time I join the world of blogging. I have been asked many times if I have a wedding which the answer is NO. So...since I keep up with so many of my friends and their family on blog spot, I thought I would try it out, and make it a beginner wedding website as well!!

Nonetheless, this is a little more complicated than I please don't be annoyed if I call with random blog questions!
